Super helpful! I needed a specific light bulb, they walked me to the section and helped me find it. This is old school customer service, I appreciate it. BONUS they have frozen pies next to the registers. They were quick to give me pie reccomendations (everyone had tried one) they even showed a pic of a pie that they baked at home. I chose strawberry rhubarb and I can't wait to try it. They also had Apply, Dutch Apple, Peach, Blueberry, Mixed Berry. This was a very nice experience at the hardware store

We had an EXCELLENT experience at the new Ace in Lakewood! The store is brand new and it’s beautiful. The layout is simple to navigate and aisles are clearly marked. The service at every Ace I’ve been to is always great but this store in particular had top notch service! We ordered a Weber griddle and we are obsessed! It cooks everything perfectly. We weren’t sure which one we wanted but were assisted by the employee and he helped guide us through our options. I drive past Home Depot and go a few extra miles to Ace Lakewood because the employees at Ace always go the extra mile for me!

Today was the second time I purchased that item that is just not carried by the big-box hardware stores. Those stores have their place, but the last time I was looking for such a specialty item the employee just didn't get my description and I ended up with a customer butting in and told me what to use. Like reviews before mine, there was personalized help for items costing less than $2.00 and the floor person even introduced me to the owner who was on the cash register. And yes, I was also introduced to the (frozen?) home-made looking pies to the right of the cash registers. Not a pie-eater but sure looked tempting to me...

My new go-to place for hardware and especially for the wonderful and detailed advice and help they gave me!

I just had a super uncomfortable visit to Ace Harware on Woodruff & South.
It was my first time there & I wanted to look around. After being ignored by the 2 people at the registers, the first employee I encountered asked what he could help me find? I said I was just looking & the employee looked highly offended & from this point on I was followed through the store. The employees were letting each other know which isle I was on as I looked around so I just decided to leave. Then 2 of the employees followed me out of the store & took a picture of my car & license plate 🤔😐
I called to tell the manager, Steve, to let him how uncomfortable I felt & asked why they followed me out of the store & took a picture. His response was defensive & told me it's very suspicious & unusual to not know what I needed. I asked why they took a picture of my car & he never answered.
He was very condescending & unapologetic.
It was just a very weird & unsettling experience... no wonder I was the only one in the store.

Great store! The team that works there is amazing. You are greeted when you walk in and if there isn’t someone at the counter, they pop up like magic to help. Friendly! Coco is a hoot! I’m so glad to have a local hardware store again!

Had a great experience at this brand new store! Place was super clean and well organized. Plenty of helpful staff and got to meet the owners, who were very nice. I bought a Weber griddle, some Milwaukee tools, some bird seed and some black licorice. Will definitely be back, they have a great selection and variety of home repair and maintenance products. Keep up the good work ACE.

This Ace hardware store is one of the best and hands on hardware stores i been too. Extremely knowledgeable of all there products. Management here beats any other big box hardware stores. If your looking for a clean and great environment and awsome staff that can direct you to what you want to buy this is the place to go. Trust me when i say you wont be disappointed when you shop here. Everything you need from building a DIY project or simply grilling they have it all, and there online pickup is awsome . I would go to this Ace Harward over any Home Depot. In otherwords this place is Clean, fully staffed, Helpful and not to mention the prices are awsome.
