We just moved to a new townhouse and some how we managed to break a glass panel on our Bathroom light fixture. Not having a receipt we took a chance and paid McLaren Lighting a visit and lo and behold there it was, the exact model in the showroom. We couldn't believe our luck. We dealt with a very helpful and efficiant Patrick Tier. He sourced out the needed glass panel and had it ready for us two days later, bubble wrapped and I may add at a good price. Thank you Patrick and Mclaren Lighting for the great service, you saved the day!

We have been building a new house for a year and a half and are almost complete. We have used McLaren Lighting for all our lighting requirements (Interior and Exterior) and have been very satisfied with the products and the service we have received from Dave and the staff. The large selection of products on display in the showroom was very helpful when making our decisions. It helps to put your hands on the product. We highly recommend the above and beyond service they provide.

Great selection of light fixtures, but *do not* buy their light bulbs. The salesperson was oddly insistent about us buying the bulbs from McLaren instead of just using regular bulbs from any hardware store. We decided to rely on their advice - big mistake. First, for two fixtures they sold us the *wrong type* of bulb - they don't fit in the fixture's socket! Second, for the bathroom light fixture the bulbs claimed to have a life of 25,000 hours but started to burn out after TWO WEEKS.

Do not buy light bulbs from McLaren Lighting. I cannot stress this enough.

I've been going to Mclaren for years and find the staff incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. It's so hard to find any who knows anything or cares these days, somehow they assemble an incredible team. The selection of lighting is second to none.

Unsatisfactory service. Mclarens lighting has become part of the cashless society. I brought my Mother who is 92 to there store. She was purchasing a lamp. When she went to pay we were told No cash taken. I offered exact change still no. I am offended that Canadian money is no good at this store. Will not return.

We just recently finished a full kitchen renovation. One of the changes we wanted to make was the removal of our dated 8"pot lights, and replace them with more modern 4" LED. Our electrician suggested we use the flush mount style. We took our layout plans to Dave at Mclaren. He took the time to guide us with the strategic placement for the new ceiling lights, focusing on how it would light the counter spaces, as well as the seating area. Tying all this in with the multi uses of under counter indirect lights, switches and dimmers, to give us multiple desired lighting effects. He also strongly disagreed with the electricians suggested choice of the flush mounted LED lights as they would be extremely glaring on the eyes, and convinced us that the recessed, gimbled style would be the better choice. Once they were all installed, and the kitchen completed, the lighting is absolutely amazing! It was exactly as Dave said it would be and more. The electricians also agreed it was the right choice 🙂
I would not hesitate to recommend Mclaren Lighting for any home lighting needs.
They are truly pros at what they do.
